Kindergarten

Project area: 240m2

Program: School - Kindergarten

Status: Schematic design

In envisioning the design for the Kindergarten, we focused on a balanced and identifiable structure, where the deliberate separation of the administrative wing and classrooms is achieved through thoughtful exterior design elements. The exterior aesthetics are meticulously curated to not only distinguish the administrative and educational zones but also to create a harmonious visual language that seamlessly integrates the entire building within its surroundings and topography. Through the playful use of colors and strategically positioned windows, we have succeeded in infusing the classrooms with abundant natural light, fostering a bright and cheerful environment conducive to learning. This careful integration also ensures a strong connection between the interior and the outside, promoting a sense of openness and engagement with the surrounding cityscape.

The administrative wing, while maintaining its functional distinction, gracefully melds into the overall massing, contributing to the overall cohesion of the design within a limited footprint. This intentional blending allows for a compact yet highly functional layout, optimizing the available space for both administrative and educational purposes.

An integral aspect of our design is the creation of multiple outdoor spaces catering to various play activities. These spaces are interconnected by a vibrant 'Rainbow Path,' serving not only as a playful design feature but also as a clear circulation route that seamlessly weaves together the different play zones. This thoughtfully designed pathway ensures easy access and fluid movement throughout the outdoor areas, fostering a dynamic and inclusive play environment.
